Deactivate at any time. Transfer and redeem reopen, and weight returns to base.
Rewards Mode freezes transfer, so a locked toad cannot complete a secondary sale. A marketplace may still display a stale off-chain listing. Deactivate Rewards Mode at any time to unfreeze it; the multiplier resets immediately to 1×.

CONTINUITY
MATTERS.
There are no retroactive multipliers and no transferable lock age. These reset rules keep reward snapshots deterministic.
UNLOCK
Multiplier returns to 1× immediately when Rewards Mode is deactivated.
RESET → 1.00×TRANSFER
Any future owner begins at 1× and must activate a new continuous lock.
RESET → 1.00×REDEEM
Redemption burns the NFT and removes its multiplier and liability permanently.
RESET → 1.00×PROGRAM-ENFORCED, NOT WEBSITE-ENFORCED
CHOOSE A TOAD While locked, the NFT cannot settle a transfer, marketplace sale, or redemption, even if another interface tries to build one.
